Set amidst the fertile landscape of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Raízes do Bem Farm will encompass a vibrant 4-hectare ecosystem dedicated to agroecology, community empowerment, and social transformation. Our farm is more than a place — it is a vision where land, people, and purpose come together to foster a future rooted in sustainability and hope.

Land Distribution (4 hectares):

  • 1 hectare: Agroecological crops and thriving community garden
  • 0.5 hectare: Moringa silage cultivation for sustainable livestock feed
  • 0.3 hectare: Free-range chicken coop with 50 laying hens
  • 0.3 hectare: Pig pen housing 5 sows and 1 boar
  • 0.4 hectare: Corral housing an initial herd of 5 high-quality dairy heifers, inseminated for optimal milk production, with integrated milking area
  • 0.5 hectare: Main house with administrative office, artisan cheese production room, and smoking facility
  • 0.5 hectare: **Fruit orchard** to supply seasonal, chemical-free fruits for our artisan sweets production
  • 1 hectare: Reserved for future expansions — agroforestry, educational spaces, and innovative sustainable initiatives

Initial Infrastructure:

  • Main house with independent administrative office
  • Artisan production room for cheeses and sweets
  • Dedicated smoking room for cured meats and cheeses
  • Efficient irrigation system and artesian well
  • Composting center for organic waste recycling

Planned Future Expansions:

  • Classrooms: Spaces for hands-on agroecology, environmental education, and community training programs
  • Gourmet space: A welcoming venue for farm-to-table events, local fairs, and culinary experiences highlighting the farm’s products
  • Agroforestry plots: Integration of trees and perennial crops to enrich biodiversity and carbon capture
